Build a strong foundation and learn to apply your skills in a wide range of situations using a modern, constraints-led approach focused on live, game-based learning.

Our kids program combines martial arts with structured guidance to build discipline, focus, and self-defense skills in a fun, encouraging environment.

Develop powerful, effective striking skills in a supportive and motivating environment.

A safe and energetic way for kids to stay active while learning real self-defense skills, with a focus on striking fundamentals, movement, and coordination.
We train with the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA) — a modern, research-backed way to learn martial arts. Instead of drilling the same move down a line, we play focused, live games that give you a clear problem to solve against a real, resisting partner. You discover what works for your body from day one, and the skill actually shows up when you roll or spar.
Less rote drilling, more live problem-solving — skill that holds up under pressure.
Beginners and experienced students train side by side, each appropriately challenged.
We focus on real skill and enjoyment, not chasing the next stripe — training stays low-stress and fun.
At WARCRY Martial Arts in Melville, Saskatchewan, we use modern, up-to-date coaching methods to teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling, and kickboxing in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Founded in 2022 and based in Melville's historic Masonic Temple, our academy trains kids and adults of every experience level — from first-day beginners to seasoned competitors. Our mission is to create adaptable, capable martial artists through training that truly prepares you for the demands of the mats and beyond. We coach with a constraints-led approach: live, game-based learning that builds real skill instead of memorizing fixed sequences, so you improve faster and have more fun doing it.
A coach who invests in how you learn
At WARCRY Martial Arts, our coaches are serious about being the best they can be — so they've joined a community of forward-thinking coaches, led by Greg Souders, who train with the constraints-led approach: a modern, games-based method grounded in motor-learning science. You learn by solving real problems on the mat — and build skill faster.
